Impacts of Contaminated Water on Children (ICWC) Project

The 'Exploring the Impacts of water contaminated by emerging pollutants on vulnerable children’ project is a joint interdisciplinary initiative led by a team working across UCL Health, Engineering and International Development Departments funded by the UCL Health of the Public Small Grants Scheme.

In this project, Kaushik has partnered to review and synthesize the existing evidence related to water contaminants and its impact on vulnerable children. The research findings were presented to a host of prestigious organizations including, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, Safe Water Network, UNICEF, gelcard®️, WaterAid, Sao Paulo State University- The Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), UK Health Security Agency, Enactus Chinhoyi University Of Technology, Council of Religions in Mozambique, Université Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar (UCAD), FIOCRUZ - Fundação Oswaldo Cruz, Universidade Estadual de Ponta Grossa, Institute for Coastal & Water Research, University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Department of Biotechnology, University of Kotli Azad Jammu and Kashmir, University of Central Lancashire, Faculty of Architecture and Design, University of Petra "جامعة البترا"​, African Water Association, PUB, Singapore's National Water Agency, UCL Dept of Civil, Environmental & Geomatic Engineering & King's College London Department of Engineering.
